Monopoly is my all time favorite game. Included on this website are the standings for the Monopoly Players' Club Championship I created with some similarly minded Monopoly sadists (you know who you are). In addition to the win/loss records of all players each player is given a power ranking based on their previous gameplay:
- Championship victories are worth 1.1 points
- Regular victories are worth 1 point
- All other places are worth a fraction of a point contingent on the number of players in the game and the finish of the individual player (ie finishing 3rd in a 5 player game is worth 0.6 points)
Currently, the points are added up and divided by total number of games played by the individual players to determining their power rankings which can be as high as 1.1/1.0 to as low as 0.0/1.0. This design may change in the future though. Our champion receives the Title of Ultimate Monopoly Champion, the Ultimate Monopoly Championship Player's Club Trophy and certain privileges for title defenses including a random free property (utilizing a 30 sided die), $200 extra, and the privelege of going first in all title defense games. The game details are currently saved in a notebook and in our database for posterity or our mild amusement, one of the two.
